The building is an imposing Georgian style house set back from the road and can be identified by a yellow brick driveway entrance and wrought iron gates.
From A12, Colchester: Take the A12 from Colchester and exit at Junction 19 for the A138. At the 1st roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the A138. Go straight across the 2nd roundabout and at the 3rd roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Chelmer Road, signposted to Chelmsford Town Centre. Continue along Chelmer Road for approximately 3 miles until you reach the Army & Navy flyover/roundabout. Take the 4th exit onto Parkway, heading into Chelmsford Town Centre. Go straight across the 1st roundabout and then take the second left into New London Road. Wollastons is situated approximately half a mile up New London Road on the right hand side and next door to Christ Church.
From A130, Stansted Airport: On leaving Stansted Airport take the A120 towards Braintree. Turn off the A120 at the A130 exit, towards Chelmsford. Continue on the A130 for approximately 6 miles until you get to the A138/Chelmer Valley Road. After approximately 4 miles you come to a T-junction where you turn right towards the West End. From here follow the signs for the A130 to Basildon and Southend. Go under the railway arches and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit. After 400 yards take the first right at the traffic lights into New London Road. Wollastons is situated approximately half a mile up New London Road on the right hand side and next door to Christ Church.
From A12, London: Exit the M25 at Junction 28 onto the A12. Stay on the A12 for approximately 9.5 miles until Junction 15 when you will see a sign for Chelmsford (A414). Follow the A414 for approximately 4 miles to Widford and then across 3 roundabouts to Chelmsford Town Centre. At the 3rd roundabout (Miami Roundabout) take the 1st exit signposted for the Town Centre. Continue along this road for about ½ a mile, at which stage you will find traffic lights (at BBC Essex’s building) and the road becomes New London Road. Wollastons is situated on your left, approximately 500 yards after those traffic lights.
