Wollastons recruits two new specialists

We are anticipating a recovery in the legal market by announcing two senior appointments. Richard Cooke, pictured left, has been recruited as a Partner to join our Construction team and brings a wealth of experience to the firm.

Until three years ago, Richard was a Construction Partner at a leading London law firm and then spent three years with a major international construction company, advising on substantial projects.

Enthusiastic about his move, Richard commented ‘Wollastons is widely acknowledged to be one of the leading regional firms and I am looking forward to helping to continue its remarkable progress.  My extensive construction experience will build on Wollastons' already impressive construction practice.‘

Terry Ford, pictured above right, who has spent many years in practice in property development and residential conveyancing at a large regional law firm, has joined the Real Estate team.  Head of the Real Estate department, Grace Kerr, stated ‘we are extremely fortunate to have recruited someone of Terry's experience and calibre.  He will be a great asset to our Real Estate practice and will bring in valuable expertise.'

Terry is a well known character in the local market and enjoys an excellent reputation.  Terry commented ‘I knew Wollastons for their high reputation and had previously worked with two of the Partners, Nick Burnett and Nigel Thompson.  I am delighted to have joined what is regarded as the leading law firm in the region.'
