Many of our clients are substantial privately owned companies whose directors and shareholders need a wide range of specialist advice but who feel comfortable with the personal attention and long term professional relationships which a practice of this size can provide.
We also act for a number of public companies and institutions, including a statutory regulator, banks, a university, further education colleges and schools. Other clients include foreign companies and their UK subsidiaries, professional partnerships, developers, local authorities, charities and farmers.
Our clients come from a wide area of the UK and from abroad. They represent a broad range of business sectors, including engineering, technology, motor dealerships, freight forwarding and transport.
The majority of our work can be described as commercial. We expect to be able to deal effectively with almost any type of legal problem that business clients may present and we often handle high profile and complex work.
We also provide a range of services for private individuals resident both in the UK and abroad. Many, though by no means all, are closely connected with our business clients.
